Derby County fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the heroics of Jesse Lingard for Manchester United on Saturday evening.
The 23-year-old, who can play as an attacking midfielder or as winger, scored the winner for United against Crystal Palace in the final of the FA Cup.
The former England Under-21 international came on as a late substitute and scored the winner in the 110th minute of the game.
It completed a 2-1 comeback victory for Louis van Gaal’s side over Premier League rivals Palace at the Wembley Stadium in London.
Lingard, who has been part of the United first team since the start of the season, was playing in the Championship just a year ago.
The youngster was on loan at Derby from the Red Devils during the second half of the 2014-15 campaign.
The Englishman scored two goals and created 10 chances in 14 league appearances during his spell at the iPro Stadium.
During the 2015-16 campaign, Lingard scored four goals and created 14 chances in 25 Premier League matches for United.

Shows how poor this Man U squad is when Lingard scores winning goal in cup final. Bench Warmer at Derby just a year ago. #dcfc— Paul Bayliss (@Paulalmanack) May 21, 2016
#dcfc fans moaning about Lingard, "overrated" he might have just scored the winner in the Cup final whilst we're still in the championship— Matt B (@mattboggo01) May 21, 2016
Lingard, the guy who couldn't get past Russell and Ward in the Derby team, scores in a cup final. Brilliant. #dcfc— stephen. (@dcfc_steeeve) May 21, 2016
