Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has told The Guardian that he wants to win the Golden Boot at the Euro 2016 finals in the summer.
Kane is one of the best strikers in Europe and will lead the line for England in the upcoming European Championship in France.
The 22-year-old has revealed that he is aiming to become the top scorer in the tournament and win the Golden Boot.
“That’d be nice,” Kane told The Guardian when asked if he was targeting the Euro 2016 Golden Boot. “That’s the aim, definitely. The more the merrier.”
Kane finished as the top scorer in the 2015-16 Premier League campaign with 25 goals.
The talented young striker started the season slowly, but once he got going, he did not have to look back.
Not many will back England to win the Euro 2016 finals in France this summer, but for the Three Lions to go far in the tournament, Kane will be a key player.
Over the past two seasons, the Tottenham youngster has proved that he is a very good striker.
The problem is that opposition teams at Euro 2016 could pay special attention to him and try to curb his game.
