Tottenham Hotspur said to be keen on moving Heung-min Son on, should Everton swoop?

Spurs are believed to be considering the sale of Son.

Reports this week are suggesting that Tottenham Hotspur are ready to sell Heung-min Son, just one year after signing the South Korean international.

The summer signing from Bayer Leverkusen battled with injury problems throughout the campaign and despite the occasional flash of inspiration he has struggled in English football.

The Telegraph are now reporting that Tottenham are preparing to sell Son if they can recoup the £22 million they spent on the player.

So should Everton make a move?

Son has struggled in his first year in English football but he remains an extremely talented individual who can surely cut it in the Premier League.

Everton need wide-men and front-men, Son is both.

Oumar Niasse has failed to deliver since his move to the club whilst Kevin Mirallas’ future is continually in doubt. With Romelu Lukaku seemingly on his way, Son could also help in a striker role.

Plenty of players struggle in their first year in the Premier League – Spurs’ current right-winger Erik Lamela is testament to that fact.

Tottenham seemingly wanting rid of Son appears premature and could be a mistake, one Everton should pounce on.
