Tottenham fans split on Son Heung-min exit reports, compare him to current Spurs star Erik Lamela

Tottenham are reportedly looking to sell winger Son Heung-min.

Spurs fans have been taking to Twitter over the last 24 hours to discuss the future of winger Son Heung-min, after a report suggested he could leave the club this summer.

Son, 23, had hit 29 goals in 87 games for Bayer Leverkusen before signing for Spurs last summer, in a deal which cost around £22m according to BBC Sport at the time.

The South Korean international was brought in to provide a boost to Tottenham's attacking options, and whilst he's been in and out of the side and suffered a couple of injuries, he has contributed eight goals and five assists in a decent first season in England.

However, The Telegraph reported on Friday that Tottenham are actually ready to sell the attacker less than a year since his arrival at White Hart Lane, with manager Mauricio Pochettino frustrated with his performance in the 5-1 defeat to Newcastle United last weekend.

The move would be something of a surprise having paid so much to land him back in August, and Spurs fans appear to be split on the possibility of him leaving.

Some believe that, if Spurs can recoup most of that £22m, then Son should be sold to raise funds for other positions, having only shown glimpses of his quality this season.

However, others believe that Son should be given more time to adapt in England, as fellow winger and current Spurs star Erik Lamela was after his 2013 move from Roma, and he's now a key player under Mauricio Pochettino.

Here are some of the reactions from Spurs fans after the report about Son's future broke on Friday...
