The Tottenham loanee won't feature this afternoon.
Rangers take on Hibernian at Hampden Park this afternoon in the Scottish Cup final. The Ibrox side are hoping to win their third title of the season, after winning the Scottish Championship and the Scottish Challenge Cup this campaign.
Mark Warburton will however be without one of his regulars from the Rangers side this afternoon.
Dominic Ball, on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, has been a regular this season but picked up a yellow card in the Old Firm semi-final against Celtic that saw him pick up a suspension for the final and will therefore miss the showpiece.
But the Rangers star is still excited about the occasion. He sent out this tweet to his Ibrox team-mates this morning, wishing them all the best in the final v Championship rivals Hibernian:
Cup final day, gutted to be missing it but looking forward to the lads performing and hopefully getting the win!!! pic.twitter.com/3VMIUTWt8z— DominicBall (@DominicBall6) May 21, 2016
Rangers will have to figure out how to play without Ball this afternoon, with Rob Kiernan and Danny Wilson set to play in the heart of defence and Rangers boss Warburton facing a decision to make in the central-midfield positions.
Hopefully Ball will get a chance to celebrate with his Rangers team-mates once again, as he heads back to Tottenham this summer with his future unsure.
