Should Tottenham Hotspur attempt to swap Heung-min Son for Wolfsburg's Andre Schurrle?

Spurs have been linked with the German international.

Reports this week are suggesting that Tottenham Hotspur are ready to sell Heung-min Son, just one year after signing the South Korean international.

The summer signing from Bayer Leverkusen battled with injury problems throughout the campaign and despite the occasional flash of inspiration he has struggled in English football.

The Telegraph are now reporting that Tottenham are preparing to sell Son if they can recoup the £22 million they spent on the player.

The report suggested Germany as a destination for the player, returning to where he made his name with Leverkusen and Hamburg.

So should they try swap him for a former Premier League player?

Not many German teams can currently afford Son, so a swap-deal might be on the cards. One potential option might be to try and bring in Andre Schurrle from VfL Wolfsburg in any deal.

Spurs were linked with the ex-Chelsea forward by the Mirror in April and he would be a decent signing for Spurs – adding more pace and direction to their attack.

If they are to be rid of Son this summer then they may as well bring in a suitable replacement in the process.

Schurrle could be that man.
