Michael Ball reacts on Twitter to Rangers’ defeat to Hibernian

Ibrox side Rangers lost to Hibernian in the final of the Scottish Cup on Saturday.

Michael Ball has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Rangers’ defeat to Hibernian on Saturday afternoon.

Rangers lost 3-2 to Hibernian in the final of the Scottish Cup at Hampden Park in Glasgow.

David Gray’s headed goal in the second minute of injury time saw Hibs end their 114-year wait to win the prestigious cup competition.

Former Rangers defender Ball was following the match, and he was impressed with the football on show.

The former Everton left-back has also claimed that the Gers will bounce back from the defeat and will be stronger next season.

Rangers were favourites to win against Hibernian heading into the match, but they did not perform as well as they should have.

Mark Warburton’s side made mistakes defensively and paid the price, as they missed the chance to win the treble.

The Glasgow giants have won the Scottish Championship title this season and have gained automatic promotion to the Scottish Premiership for the 2016-17 campaign. Rangers have also clinched the Scottish Challenge Cup.
