The Edinburgh outfit got the better of Glasgow giants Rangers 3-2 in the final of the Scottish Cup at Hampden Park in Glasgow.
David Gray’s headed goal in the second minute of injury time saw Hibs end their 114-year wait to win the prestigious cup competition.
Henderson, who joined Hibernian on a season-long loan deal from Scottish Premiership giants Celtic in the summer of 2015, has taken to Twitter to express his delight at the triumph.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Hampden Park in Glasgow on Saturday afternoon, Rangers had 60% of the possession, took seven shots of which two were on target, and earned three corners.
Hibernian had 40% of the possession, took 21 shots of which eight were on target, and earned five corners.
