Besiktas midfielder Veli Kavlak has been linked with a move to West Ham United in the summer transfer window.

Besiktas midfielder Veli Kavlak has told Fotospor that he does not plan to leave the club in the summer transfer window.

The Austria international has been linked with a move away from the Turkish giants in the summer.

According to a recent report on Fanatik, West Ham United want to sign Kavlak in the summer.

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic worked with Kavlak at Besiktas, and is a big fan of the 27-year-old.

Kavlak, though, has made it clear that he does not want to leave Besiktas in the summer, having just won the Turkish Super Lig title with the Istanbul outfit.

“I hope to stay in the team,” Kavlak told Fotospor when asked about speculation on his future.

Kavlak has been on the books of Besiktas since 2011 and has a contract until June 2019.

The Austria international is a very good and talented midfielder, but it seems that he does not want to leave Besiktas.

Besiktas will play in the Champions League next season, while West Ham may not even feature in the Europa League.

It is hard to see Kavlak leave Besiktas to play for a team not in Europe, even though living and playing in London could be tempting.
