Mousa Dembele comments on his relationship with Eden Hazard

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele and Chelsea star Eden Hazard are Belgium international teammates.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele has told that he has no problem with Chelsea star Eden Hazard.

In the final weeks of the 2015-16 Premier League campaign with both Tottenham and Leicester in the running for the title, Chelsea attacking midfielder Hazard said that he wanted the Foxes to win the championship.

"The fans, the club, the players, we don't want Tottenham to win the Premier League," the 25-year-old told BBC's Match of the Day programme in late April. "We hope for Leicester because they deserve to be champions this season.”

It was Hazard who scored the goal that saw Leicester claim the title, as he found the target in a 2-2 draw with Spurs at Stamford Bridge at the start of this month.

The London derby was an ill-tempered one, as Tottenham squandered a two-goal lead to lose the Premier League title to Leicester.

Dembele and Hazard are Belgium international teammates, and the Tottenham midfielder has made it clear that he has no problem whatsoever with the former Lille star.

“Of course there’s no problems between us,” Dembele told, as translated by Sport Witness. “We spoke of this. He told me what he meant.

“I read that I felt Hazard was jealous of Tottenham, which was false. There’s nothing broken between us.”

Dembele was one of Tottenham’s best players this season and scored three goals in 29 Premier League appearances this past season.

The Belgium international created 28 chances, and had a pass accuracy of 90% and a shot accuracy of 56% for Spurs.

Hazard had a poor season for Chelsea, and scored four goals and created 66 chances in 31 league matches.
