The Bayern Munich midfielder has been heavily linked to Liverpool.

Germany manager Joachim Loew has advised Mario Gotze to find a manager who wants him in his team, amid links to Liverpool, as reported by Kicker.

The Bayern Munich star has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool this summer for several for several months.

He has struggled to become a first team star at the Allianz Arena, and has reportedly been told by incoming manager Carlo Ancelotti that he will not be a first team regular next season.

Liverpool are thought to be keen admirers, with many believing that a reunion with his former Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp would be best for his career.

And Loew has advised the player that he needs a coach who wants to having him in his team.

“Generally I say sometimes a change can put more forces free, a new environment, new challenges, new stimuli,” Kicker reports him saying.

“What Mario needs is confidence, he needs a coach who wants to have him in his team.”

A move to Liverpool to link up with Klopp would certainly make sense for Gotze given the success he enjoyed with him at Dortmund.

However, it would be interesting to see where they would fit him into the team given their abundance of attacking midfielders they currently have.

Philippe Coutinho, Adam Lallana and Roberto Firmino all want to play in the number ten role and how Gotze would fit in would be fascinating to find out.
