The Owls beat Brighton 3-1 on aggregate in the Championship play-off semi-finals on Monday evening, and are now into the final against Hull City later this month.
Now just one game away from a Premier League return, these are exciting times for Wednesday, and manager Carlos Carvalhal will have surely drawn up transfer targets for this summer, regardless of whether they win promotion or not.
Now, The World Game in Australia report that Wednesday are keen to sign Celtic playmaker Tom Rogic, after he enjoyed his finest season as a Bhoys player.
The 23-year-old Australia international had previously seen his Celtic career marred by injuries, but Rogic managed to stay fit for the whole campaign - and he became one of Ronny Deila's most impressive players.
With ten goals in all competitions this season, Rogic has been superb for Celtic, but with just one year left on his contract at Celtic Park - and no signs of an extension being signed right now - there is a possibility that he will be sold this summer before he leaves for free in 2017.
Now, Wednesday are believed to be interested in landing Rogic, adding another player to their contingent of former Celtic players, with Glenn Loovens, Ross Wallace, Aiden McGeady and Gary Hooper already at Hillsborough.
A goalscoring midfielder with great skill, Rogic would be a great addition for Wednesday and may fancy his chances of succeeding in England if given the chance this summer.
Would you sell Rogic to Sheffield Wednesday?
