Report: QPR scout 28-goal Poland international

Loftus Road

Scouts from the West London club reportedly watched the Legia Warsaw winger last weekend.

Queens Park Rangers scouts were in attendance to watch Legia Warsaw winger Michal Kucharczyk recently, according to Polish publication Meczyki.

Delegates from the West London club watched the Polish giants smash Pogon Szczecin on Sunday, in which the 25-year-old managed a full 90 minutes.

However, the report from Meczyki suggests that Kucharczyk - who has won eight caps for Poland's national team - may have disappointed the onlooking representation of the Championship club.

Kucharczyk, who has 28 goals from 146 league appearances for Legia, is used mainly as a winger, and with The Mirror reporting this week that Junior Hoilett could be headed for Swansea City, is it unthinkable that the Pole may be the replacement?

Rangers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who replaced Chris Ramsey at Loftus Road in December, has a difficult job next season. Not only must he do his best as far as promotion goes, he must do so relying on bargain-basement playing due to the R's shift in transfer policy.

Hasselbaink's side finished 12th in the Championship this past season, 14 points off a playoff position.
