Aston Villa are expected to bring in a large amount of new players in the summer transfer window.
According to a report in the Birmingham Mail, Aston Villa’s next manager could have a £40 million budget to spend in the summer transfer window.
Villa are currently undergoing a takeover, with Dr Tony Xia expected to take full control of the Midlands club in the coming days.
The Chinese businessman has already expressed a desire to ensure Villa bounce back from relegation straight away, and he is apparently prepared to back the new manager with funds.
Even though Villa will be playing Championship football next season, the new manager is expected to be handed masses of money to renovate his squad.
Villa realise that they need to rebuild their team following relegation, and a large number of changes are likely to be made at Villa Park this summer.
At the moment, it is still uncertain as to who the Villains’ next manager will be.
Roberto Di Matteo was initially expected to become Villa’s next boss, but Sky Sports have reported that there are plenty of other candidates also being considered.
