Newcastle star reunited with former Tottenham Hotspur teammates as England trained ahead of Euro 2016.

Newcastle United winger Andros Townsend has been reunited with his former Tottenham pals, just days after helping his side hammer his old team 5-1.

The win was immaterial for Newcastle who were already relegated, but it was costly for Spurs as they slipped to third place, and lost out on £1.2 million Premier League prize money in the process, as well as the humiliation of letting Arsenal finish above them.

Townsend and Kane, teammates for several seasons at Tottenham, from the academy through to the first team, were back together again with the England squad, as they trained and got their Euro 2016 preparations underway.

Winger Townsend left Spurs to keep his international ambitions alive after being made into somewhat of an outcast by head coach Mauricio Pochettino, and the gamble paid off even if from a team point of view, Newcastle's relegation was the last occurrence he would have wanted.

During the training session Tottenham arch enemy Jack Wilshere of Arsenal got stuck in, attempting to win the ball from Spurs left-back Danny Rose.

Townsend has impressed for England whenever he has been given opportunities, and is well liked by manager Roy Hodgson.

He seems at home in the squad too, and looked glad to be catching up with old pal Kyle Walker, of Tottenham, after the session was over.
