Liverpool take on Sevilla in the Europa League final on Wednesday in what is likely to prove a fascinating clash between the two sides.
Sevilla are the current holders of the competition, having won it for the last two years running.
They face a stern test to make three years on the trot though, with Liverpool determined to win the competition after a fine run to the final.
They have seen off Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and Villarreal to make it to Basel, and Coke admits they are a very strong team.
“Liverpool are a very strong team at the front but Sevilla are known as a team that knows how to defend,” the Liverpool Echo reports him saying.
“Sevilla have to play as Sevilla, that's what our coach has told us. We have to play to our characteristics and strengths. We have to play as a team.”
If Liverpool do end up as winners on Wednesday evening, it will cap what has been a fine first seven months in charge for Jurgen Klopp.
He has already led Liverpool to two cup finals in that time, with many predicting a bright future for them under his leadership.
And winning the Europa League would provide them with a Champions League place next season, which would be a major boost for his plans this summer.
