The Hibernian boss will take his side to Hampden Park this weekend as they try to prevent Rangers from winning a treble with a Scottish Cup triumph.
Rangers go into the game as favourites after winning the Championship ahead of Hibernian and after defeating their Old Firm rivals Celtic in the semi-final.
Stubbs’ was discussing that performance in particular when he told talkSPORT:
“Mark’s done a really good job this year, in fact he has done a fantastic job.
“He has bought some very gifted players and they’ve done well all season.
“They’ve got players that have just been called up into the Scotland squad. They’re a very attacking team. They like to play on the front-foot and on the eye they are very easy to watch.”
Rangers have been excellent under Mark Warburton this season and have already dispatched with plenty of Premiership opposition this season – whilst they also finished above Hibs in the league table this season.
So there is no doubt that Rangers will be entering the game as favourites.
Hibs also come into the game smarting from their play-off hopes going up in smoke. They were defeated by Falkirk in the promotion play-off recently and they will therefore be playing second tier football once again next season.
If they put in a second-tier performance against Rangers this weekend then Stubbs is likely to be recovering from yet another defeat to the Glasgow outfit.
