Furious Jamie Carragher's f-word verdict on Liverpool star's performance

Jamie Carragher is not impressed with Alberto Moreno.

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher reacted with anger to Liverpool's defeat to Sevilla in the Europa League final.

Subject of his displeasure was defender Alberto Moreno, whose second half display set the tone for the Spanish side to come back and lose 3-1.

Moreno's error let Sevilla equalise 18 second after half-time, and he was frequently caught out of position as the Reds were outdone by the superior side.

Carragher sent a foul mouthed tweet out after the final whistle, which can be read here.

He wrote: "Jurgen, transfer committee, anyone sign a f***ng left back"

Carragher's opinions are held in high regard at Anfield, and his comments are unlikely to go unnoticed by the club hierarchy, but hopefully they will also have seen for themselves that the Spaniard, playing against his former side, was a weak link.

Liverpool have lost two finals this year, also defeated on penalties by Manchester City in the Capital One Cup final, and were unable to end Jurgen Klopp's first season in charge on a high.

They have not qualified for Europe next season, which to spin positively, allows them to concentrate on their Premier League form.
