Slaven Bilic names West Ham United's most improved player this season

West Ham United are destined to finish in the top seven of the Premier League this season.

West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic has told the London Evening Standard that Aaron Cresswell, Mark Noble and Michail Antonio are amongst the most improved players at Upton Park this season.

The trio have all been pivotal for the Hammers this term, as they have achieved a top seven finish.

And Bilic feels that Cresswell, Noble and Antonio have all progressed considerably as the campaign has gone on.

“Those who watched West Ham last year would maybe have a better idea, but Aaron Cresswell, Mark Noble and Michail Antonio have gone forward,” Bilic said, when asked which West Ham player had progressed the most. “Aaron has improved a lot defensively.”

Noble, Cresswell and Antonio were all tipped to be outsiders to make the England squad for Euro 2016 by many, due to their stellar form throughout the campaign.

Although none of the trio managed to make it into Roy Hodgson’s squad, the fact that they were talked about shows how much their reputations have grown.

Cresswell is now considered to be one of the Premier League’s best left-backs, while Noble has been an exemplary captain throughout the campaign.

Antonio has also been excellent since breaking into West ham’s mid way through the season, and he has scored eight times in 26 Premier League appearances.
