Quoted by the Birmingham Mail, manager Kenny Jackett has told Wolverhampton Wanderers duo Kevin Thelwell and Jez Moxey that all three of them have much to do this summer in order to prepare Wolves for next season.
Jackett's side finished a disappointing 14th in the Championship this past season after winning just four of their last 20 league games as the wheels came off their campaign somewhat.
Injuries took their toll on Wanderers in a mini crisis which decimated and exposed the lack of strength in depth lining his squad.
It is a problem which Jackett is determined to put right this season, but he cannot do so without the help of Head of Recruitment Thelwell, along with Chief Executive Moxey.
The former Millwall boss has sent a message to the pair, insisting that it is time to "drive foward" and build on what they almost achieved in the 2014-15 campaign, missing out on a playoff spot through goal difference after winning promotion the season before.
“It’s not a time for sitting back, it’s not a time for me, or Kevin Thelwell, or Jez Moxey , to sit back," he said via the Birmingham Mail.
“We’re all determined in this period to work as hard as we can to sign the players we need. It’s a time to drive forward.”
The 54-year-old will enter his fourth season as Wolves manager next term.
