The Tottenham Hotspur manager was photographed with Sir Alex Ferguson.
The Argentine boss was photographed with legendary Red Devils manager Sir Alex Ferguson in an incident which prompted speculation as to what the meeting was in relation to.
Tottenham fans will not have been overly worried, given that the 44-year-old had just signed a contract extension until 2021 prior to meeting the Scot, but the lunch date raised eyebrows all the same.
Of course, Pochettino, whose Spurs side challenged for the Premier League title this past season, has been touted for the United job in the past, and Wright feels that it is only a matter of time before the young manager finds himself in the home dugout at Old Trafford.
"Whatever happens - and he has signed a deal - but you have to say, there's clauses in it and with them being so friendly, you have to say that Pochettino will be a United manager at some stage," the Arsenal legend said to The Sun.
That being said, Pochettino is still an excellent manager, but suitors won't be knocking his door down if Tottenham begin next season as they finished the 2015-16 campaign.
Once the title was gone for the Lilywhites, Pochettino's troops capitulated, losing 2-1 at home to Southampton, before a 5-1 demolition at 10-man Newcastle United, in their last game before heading down into the Championship, saw North London rivals Arsenal pip them to second spot for the 21st season in succession.
