Sheffield Wednesday beat Brighton & Hove Albion 3-1 on aggregate to book their place at Wembley.
Former Sheffield Wednesday strikers Connor Wickham, Ryan Lowe and Clinton Morrison have all expressed their delight for their old club, after they made the play off final with an aggregate win over Brighton & Hove Albion.
Wednesday drew 1-1 against the Seagulls at the AMEX Stadium last night, to ensure that they would be at Wembley.
Wednesday will now take on the winners of Hull City’s tie against Derby County for a place in the Premier League, and some of their former players were overjoyed with the progress the Owls had made.

Wednesday went into their match against Brighton last night with a 2-0 lead to protect, but they were put under serious pressure.
Chris Hughton’s side flew out of the blocks and quickly reduced Wednesday’s advantage, when Lewis Dunk poked the ball home at the far post.
The Seagulls continued to press, but Wednesday struck a hammer blow when Ross Wallace’s cross evaded everyone and drifted in at the far post.
The Owls then defended resolutely throughout the rest of the contest, and they are now just one win away from finally ending their wait to return to the Premier League.
