Ronny Deila is leaving Celtic this summer - who could replace him?
Last month, Celtic confirmed that manager Ronny Deila will leave the club this summer, as his rolling contract will not be extended.
The Norwegian arrived from Stromsgodset in 2014, and whilst he won the Scottish League Cup and Premiership last season, his second term in Glagsow hasn't been quite so successful.
The Bhoys may have won the title in somewhat unconvincing fashion, but Deila oversaw disastrous exits from the Champions League and Europa League, and the Scottish Cup defeat to Old Firm rivals Rangers - currently in the second tier - has seen Deila lose his job.
Fans are wondering who could replace Deila this summer, after he took charge of his final match on Sunday, and bookmakers have been pricing up odds for some of the frontrunners. With odds supplied by Oddschecker, here are some of the main names being discussed today...
Paul Lambert: Former Celtic midfielder Lambert made more than 250 appearances for the Bhoys as a player, and is available having left Blackburn Rovers. Strongly touted when Deila left his role, the former Aston Villa manager has drifted today after Sky Sports reported that he hasn't held talks with the Bhoys, and is now out to around 14/1.
Neil Lennon: Another ex-Celtic player, Lennon spent four years in charge of Celtic between 2010 and 2014, before leaving and being replaced by Deila. The Northern Irishman is available after leaving Bolton Wanderers in March, and remains a popular figure amongst sections of the Celtic support. Still the second favourite at around 9/2, Lennon remains in the mix.
Malky Mackay: Former Wigan boss Mackay had a stint at Celtic as a player, and Sky Sports report that he has held talks over taking the job at Celtic Park. The Scot impressed with Watford and Cardiff before struggling at Wigan, and desperately need to rebuild his reputation. The former defender has now been heavily backed today, and is down to just 6/1.
David Moyes: Ex-Celtic defender Moyes is a free agent having left Real Sociedad back in November, and has been heavily touted for the Bhoys job. Looking to rebuild his reputation after two poor stints at Manchester United and Sociedad, Moyes could be a huge appointment for Celtic, but after Sky Sports reported that Moyes hasn't been contacted by Celtic, he's now out to as far as 9/1.
The favourite - Brendan Rodgers: Sky Sports reported earlier today that Rodgers has held two rounds of talks with Celtic, and is now the Bhoys' first choice for the job. Bookmakers have swiftly responded, and the Northern Irishman is now as short as 1/6 to replace Deila. After a flurry of bets, he now appears to be in the clear for the Celtic position this summer.
