West Ham United's recent signing Toni Martinez has taken to Twitter to celebrate his exploits in the International Cor Groenewegen tournament this weekend.
Martinez, 18, left Valencia for West Ham back in April, penning a three-year contract with the Hammers as he looks to further his career away from his native Spain.
The striker has started out life in the West Ham development squad, and travelled to the Netherlands over the weekend in order to play for the Hammers in the International Cor Groenewegen tournament.
West Ham enjoyed a superb tournament, beating Uitgeest, AZ Alkmaar, Cruzeiro and Panathinaikos before drawing 0-0 with Brazilian side Atletico Paranaense in the final, eventually losing on penalties.
Striker Martinez took to Twitter on Saturday evening to celebrate his first goal for the club, having notched the first goal in the 2-0 win over Uitgeest, admitting that his debut couldn't have gone any better.
Then, with the tournament now over this evening, Martinez again took to Twitter having been named the top scorer in the tournament, but also claimed that he was disappointed with the result in the final against Brazil's Atletico Paranaense.
Here is how teenage striker Martinez reacted on Twitter after his productive weekend in a West Ham shirt...
It's early days for Martinez, but being named top goalscorer is a great start to life at West Ham for the Spaniard, and he will be hoping to build on that during pre-season.
