According to a report on ESPN, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Nabil Bentaleb is set to stay at White Hart Lane next season.
Bentaleb enjoyed a fine breakthrough year in the 2014/15 campaign, but he failed to kick on in the season just gone.
Bentaleb has made just 11 appearances for Spurs this past campaign, and his future has been put into doubt.
The Algerian international has not been seen in the first-team since February, and rumours of PSG’s interest in him have begun to emerge.
However, Bentaleb has apparently impressed Mauricio Pochettino with his attitude in training.
The 21-year-old has reportedly knuckled down, and convinced Pochettino that he could have a part to play in the coming years.
Bentaleb is, therefore, set to stay - and he will hope to have a more prominent role next campaign.
If Bentaleb is in Spurs’ first-team next season he will be competing with the likes of Ryan Mason, Mousa Dembele and Eric Dier for a place in Mauricio Pochettino’s starting line-up.
