Sheffield Wednesday are reportedly tracking German striker Sandro Wagner.
The Sun reported in their Sunday edition on 15/5 (Via Alan Nixon's column in Page 62) that Wagner is a target for the Owls, and is valued at around £2 million.
Wagner, 28, currently plays for German Bundesliga side SV Darmstadt, who finished 14th in the top flight.
The striker scored an impressive 14 goals in 32 Bundesliga appearances this past season, finishing as the joint sixth highest scorer in the division.
Wagner has a contract running until June 2017, meaning Wagner could be sold this summer in order to cash in.
He is a former German under-21 international, scoring four times in eight games at the level, but has not earned a senior cap.
Sheffield Wednesday are bidding to earn promotion to the Premier League through the play-offs, and securing top flight football would give them a better chance of persuading Wagner to sign.
