Colombian defender Jeison Murillo has been linked with a move to English champions Leicester City and Europa League finalists Liverpool.
The 23-year-old defender has been linked frequently with a move away from the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, and according to Italian media outlet Leggo, Liverpool and Leicester are thought to be among the front-runners, along with Russian side Zenit St. Petersburg.
However, should the two English sides wish to land the promising centre-half, they will have to meet Inter’s valuation, which is thought to be around the €25 million mark.
And, according to Coriere Dello Sport, it is not looking promising for Leicester’s hopes of signing Murillo, who apparently wishes to join one of England’s traditional elite, rather than the East Midland miracle-makers.
Murillo has made 34 appearances for Inter this season and is held in high regard by the Italian club.
He has gone from strength to strength since joining the Nerazzurri midway through last season, and capped his improving stature by winning the Copa America’s best young player last summer.
