Peter Ramage has taken to social networking site Twitter to name two Newcastle United players who are bright prospects for the future.
The Coventry City man has also stated on Twitter that he was impressed with Chancel Mbemba’s performance in the first half of the Premier League game between the Magpies and Tottenham Hotspur at St. James’ Park on Sunday afternoon.
The 32-year-old has also claimed that DR Congo international defender Mbemba has been impressive this season.
Mbemba been impressive 1st half and this season. A must to keep and build a defence around next season! #Nufc— Peter Ramage (@peterramage83) May 15, 2016
Mbemba joined Newcastle from Belgian giants Anderlecht in the summer of 2015 and played relatively well this season.
The 21-year-old created four chances in 33 Premier League appearances for the Magpies.
The youngster had a pass accuracy of 77% and a shot accuracy of 22%, and won 48 headers, 20 dribbles and 62 tackles.
Newcastle have been relegated from the Premier League and will play in the Championship next season.
Mbemba’s performances this season suggest that he will be an important player for the Magpies in the Championship during the 2016-17 campaign.
