Kit Harrington says this was his best memory of filming Game of Thrones so far

Jon Snow Game Of Thrones 1

The Game of Thrones star has been reflecting on a previous season.

This article contains spoilers for Game of Thrones.

Game of Thrones actor Kit Harrington has been speaking to Vogue Italia about his favourite time on set, which in turn revealed just how he feels about his former co-star Rose Leslie.

It is no secret that the actors who play Jon Snow and (the now deceased) Ygritte in the show are a couple off set, too, but up until now Harrington has been reluctant to speak about his private life.

Perhaps now free from the constraints of keeping that secret about Jon’s fate, Harrington has opened up and fans across the globe will no doubt swoon at his honesty.

When asked for his best memory of filming the HBO series to date, Harrington told Vogue Italia, “The three weeks in Iceland when we were shooting the second season; because the country is beautiful, because the Northern Lights are magical, and because it was there that I fell in love.”

As fans of Game of Thrones will know, season two introduced the doomed love affair between brother of the Night’s Watch Jon and wildling Ygritte.

But while the latter would ultimately meet her maker, Harrington and Leslie have remained an item off screen as well.

Season six of Game of Thrones continues every Sunday in the US and every Monday in the UK, with the latest episode airing on Sky Atlantic tonight at 9:00pm.
