The Aston Villa man was in a defence which ended up conceding four in North London.
Aston Villa rounded off a dismal campaign by losing 4-0 at Arsenal on Sunday.
The relegated Villans fell behind after just five minutes following a header from Olivier Giroud, who went on to score two more in the final quarter to seal his hat-trick.
In the dying stages, Aston Villa goalkeeper Mark Bunn inadvertently added a fourth as his unfortunate own goal compounded a miserable day for the visitors.
Seventy four minutes elapsed between Arsenal's first and second goals, suggesting that Villa may have defended quite well in that time.
But the club's supporters were still having none of Lescott, the 33-year-old centre-back who has a lot of making up to do if he is to stay with Villa in the Championship.
Carlos Sanchez, Bacuna and Lescott defending is actually laughable— Spencer Carter (@spencervilla1) May 15, 2016
Lescott has done the unbelievable today. He's made Olivier Giroud look like a centre forward. Incredible defending.— Kyle Norbury (@_FootballNerd) May 15, 2016
Remember when lescott "used" to be a top defender— f (@farhandollar) May 15, 2016
How is Lescott still allowed to play? How can any of them be allowed to play??— Ben Currie (@bencurrie8) May 15, 2016
Hope Lescott brought his car to make a quick getaway also good luck to Bacuna on his champions league adventures— John Roche (@seanbeag1492) May 15, 2016
First things first: Villa need to appoint a new manager, but it is difficult to do that while the club is up for sale. There is so much instability at Aston Villa, but they need to decide Remi Garde's successor as soon as possible and give him as much time as possible to shape the team in his image this summer.
