According to The Sun, Tottenham are planning to offer £20m for Basel striker Breel Embolo - but Granada's Isaac Success is also wanted.
Harry Kane may have cemented himself as one of the Premier League's top strikers with another incredible season, but manager Mauricio Pochettino will be all too aware that there is little cover or competition for the England international.
A new centre forward is a must for Spurs and Pochettino, and reports suggest that they have identified two possible targets for the summer transfer window
The Sun report that Tottenham are planning to offer £20m to sign Basel sensation Breel Embolo, who has been taking Swiss football by storm.
Embolo, 19, was born in Cameroon but moved to Switzerland at a young age, and he has emerged as Basel's hottest young prospect, smashing 30 goals in the last two seasons.
With pace and power, Embolo is an athletic centre forward who can also play out wide, and after Basel sold on the likes of Yann Sommer, Aleksandar Dragovic, Granit Xhaka, Xherdan Shaqiri and Mohamed Salah in recent years, Embolo could be the latest big sale with Spurs planning a huge £20m offer.
However, The Sun add that Spurs are also interested in signing Granada forward Isaac Success as an alternative to Embolo, having impressed in Spain this season.
The 20-year-old Nigerian, who can also play up front or out wide, has hit six goals in La Liga this season, and Tottenham could make a move if they can't land Embolo.
