Report claims Inter Milan want Tottenham Hotspur star Mousa Dembele

Surely Tottenham have nothing to fear from Inter Milan?

This summer Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to build on what has been a productive season, which will see them playing in the Champions League once again this summer.

That means the club will be looking to improve their team and keep hold of their star players.

One of those star players this season had been Belgian midfielder Mousa Dembele.

The maestro has been in great form this term, finally living up to the potential that saw Tottenham bring him in from Fulham.

But his form has attracted suitors, according to reports this weekend.

AlfredoPedulla.com in Italy is reporting that Inter Milan have made the Spurs midfielder one of their number one targets this summer.

Inter boss Roberto Mancini is looking for a dynamic midfielder and Dembele fits the bill – with Yaya Toure, Lucas Biglia and Tonny Vilhena also mentioned.

So should Spurs be worried?

Not really. Firstly, this is just a rumour and no official bid has been made.

Secondly, why would Dembele swap Spurs for Inter.

The Italian club will not be playing Champions League football next season and are not exactly splashing the cash on wages at present.

Serie A is becoming something of a one-horse race at the moment, with Juventus dominant and surely Dembele will prefer to play in England.

Inter look unlikely to be able to afford Dembele, who would surely be reluctant to leave.

Tottenham fans, don’t worry.
