The winger looked in good form and scored a great goal.
Liverpool drew 1-1 with West Bromwich Albion today, with plenty of first-team players rested ahead of the Europa League final with Sevilla on Wednesday night.
The winger ran West Brom ragged before for half of the field before slamming home a left-foot strike to level the scoring – it was his first Premier League goal for the club.
When Jurgen Klopp first arrived at Anfield it immediately looked like he had taken a shine to Ibe and gave the youngster plenty of opportunities to shine.
Unfortunately, he rarely took them.
In recent weeks his form has been poor and the 20-year-old has been a frustrating figure among the Liverpool faithful.
But his goal and overall performance in this game once again highlighted his undoubted natural ability.
At times Ibe has struggled to fulfil his potential at Liverpool but his performance today was finally closer to what is his best.
Here is how Liverpool fans reacted on Twitter…
