The midfielder struggled to perform in a game in which Derby County simply did not turn up.
The Rams were thoroughly outplayed in a 3-0 defeat at the iPro Stadium that has all but ended their hopes of promotion to the Premier League.
Derby failed to turn up on an important occasion and there were plenty of poor performances that had fans livid on Twitter.
They were angry with manager Darren Wassall for his decisions whilst most of the players received some stick.
But perhaps none more so than Bradley Johnson. He was signed from Norwich City for a handsome fee in the summer but has struggled for consistency this season.
He came into the starting XI because of the injury to George Thorne and it would be fair to say he struggled with the occasion.
The fact he cost more than Leicester City’s incredible bargain buy N’Golo Kante has certainly not helped his cause on social media.
Derby fans had plenty of gripes on Twitter yesterday, but here is how they reacted to the performance of Bradley Johnson…
Hull's first goal was a result of 3 massive errors.Johnson giving it away easily.Shackell missing the ball.Carson beaten from range. #dcfc— Joel (@JoelTheGinger) May 15, 2016
Johnson cost more than Kante, Ince over 10xs what Mahrez cost Whoever sanctioned those deals should go now; taking Wassall with them #dcfc— Ian Redfern (@redfern_ian) May 14, 2016
Absolute nightmare half for #dcfc. I'd get Johnson off now. Olsson at serious risk of a red card. Big problems all over pitch.— Derby County Blog (@derbycountyblog) May 14, 2016
This is grim. Bradley Johnson having a nightmare, Tom Ince patchy, Will Hughes not on the ball in positions to hurt them. And no luck #dcfc— David Ottewell (@davidottewell) May 14, 2016
@Gxdmundsson 6 million. 6. On Bradley Johnson. Not worth 6p. Big clear out needed for us in the summer.— stephen. (@dcfc_steeeve) May 14, 2016
Today's performance was poor. Johnson didn't look fit enough and made a lot of mistakes. Changes need to be made for Tuesday #dcfc— Eloise (@tinydancerMac) May 14, 2016
Bradley Johnson: utter tosh! Unfit you may say, well why select him? What an absolute waste of money offers nothing #dcfc— Dave (@Superrams69) May 14, 2016
Johnson looked uninterested. Hughes needed to be further forward. Choking in the games that matter. Same old story. #dcfc— Steven (@dolphlynler) May 14, 2016
