The Arsenal midfielder has been missing for the majority of this season.
Wilshere has missed the majority of this season with Arsenal, having battled his way back from another long-term injury.
He is back fit now though and featuring for the Gunners, with an impressive display in the 2-2 draw with Manchester City last weekend.
England manager Roy Hodgson appears to be determined to include him in his squad for Euro 2016, as has given him every chance to prove his fitness.
And it appears he has done just that, with the Mirror claiming that rather than just earning a place in the squad, he could actually be in for a starting role against Russia on June 11.
That would certainly be a brave call from the England manager, with his lack of playing time sure to be a major concern.
He showed in the game against Manchester City that he is not too far from being at his best though, and that display appears to have been enough to convince Hodgson.
