The 23-year-old Spain international defender worked under Emery at Sevilla before joining Liverpool in the summer of 2014.
The left-back is now working with Klopp at Anfield, and he has outlined the similarities between the German and Emery.
“They have certain things in common,” Moreno told The Daily Mail about similarities between Klopp and Emery. “They are both very passionate about the game.
"And they both create a sort of force within the group, an intensity that you then see reflected on the pitch in the way that we don’t stop running and we don’t stop working.
“I’m playing in a very similar way to the way I played for Emery. Both managers like attacking full backs. But I also know that the first thing I need to do is defend.”
Moreno has scored one goal and created 61 chances in 32 Premier League appearances for Liverpool this season.
The Spain international left-back has a pass accuracy of 81% and a shot accuracy of 35%, and has 13 headers, 16 dribbles and 69 tackles.
Liverpool will face Sevilla in the final of the Europa League at St. Jakob-Park in Basel on Wednesday evening.
Sevilla have won the competition for the past two season and will head into the game as favourites.
For Liverpool, this is a great chance to qualify for the 2016-17 Champions League campaign. The Premier League outfit have done remarkably well under Klopp this season, and the fans should be optimistic.
