Liverpool have been impressive under Klopp since he took charge.
Klopp has been a big hit at Liverpool since replacing Brendan Rodgers at the club back in October.
It has been a successful stint in charge for him too, having reached the Capital One Cup final and the Europa League final in his time in charge.
Many have been impressed by the work he has done, anticipating a bright future under his leadership.
And Klopp has now admitted that it has gone better than he expected, although he is constantly thinking about the points they have dropped and where they could be with them.
"I'm not sure it could have gone better in terms of relationships with the players, the club and the fans," he told Sky Sports.
"It's been better than I could have imagined but we could have had more points. I think about dropped points and where we would be with three or four more points. It could be better.”
How successful Liverpool can be next season is likely to rest on the work they can do in the summer transfer window.
The Reds are widely expected to be busy as Klopp looks to shape the squad he inherited from Brendan Rodgers.
A number of exits are likely but the additions will be more important, with improving the defence sure to be of the utmost importance.
