The German youth international has had a torrid time with injuries this season.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has handed plenty of chances to their young players since taking over from Nigel Pearson. But it is being reported in Turkey that that one of their top talents remains a transfer target for Trabzonspor.

Sabah is reporting that the Turkish club will be making a move for Liverpool’s young German forward Samed Yesil this summer – yet again.

The club have previously been linked with the player and it appears that rumour is rumbling on.

The report states that Trabzonspor president Muharrem Usta is particularly keen on pushing through a deal for the player this summer.

Yesil arrived at Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen in 2012 as one of German football’s hottest prospects.

Hope was high he would have a big impact at Liverpool for years to come but injury has prevented his development.

He has suffered two cruciate ligament ruptures during his time at Liverpool that have severely dented his progress. This season he has spent time on loan at Swiss club FC Luzern but has managed just 15 appearances for the Swiss side, scoring one goal.

Yesil, who has Turkish heritage, is out of contract at Liverpool and it could be a move to Turkey is the best way to kickstart his once promising career.
