Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino reportedly has £60m to spend on new signings this summer.
Spurs saw their unexpected bid for the title fall short as Leicester City took the crown, but with Champions League qualification secured, it was a superb season for Tottenham and manager Pochettino.
With young players developing like Eric Dier, Dele Alli and Harry Kane, Pochettino has a strong base of young talent to work with, but with Spurs looking to compete in multiple competitions next season, he may need to add some new faces to his squad over the summer.
Given that Tottenham are preparing to build and eventually move in to a new stadium, many had wondered just how much money Pochettno will be able to spend on new signings this summer - but it seems that chairman Levy is ready to splash the cash.
A report from the Daily Mail claims that Pochettino has been handed a huge £60m transfer budget for this summer, with Levy backing his manager after the Argentine penned a new five-year contract on Thursday.
The report claims that Pochettino has identified Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi and Mainz playmaker Yunus Malli as two players he would like to bring in, and will ultimately be looking for 'energetic players under 27'.
Fans may want to see another central midfielder brought in too, whilst it's also claimed that the likes of Ryan Mason, Nacer Chadli and Nabil Bentaleb could be sold this summer, as Pochettino looks to build a squad capable of competing at the top of the Premier League and in the Champions League.
