HITC Sport understands Fleetwood Town are set to win race for Rangers target.
Fleetwood Town are set to beat a number of clubs to the signature of Wycombe Wanderers striker Aaron Holloway, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
The likes of Rangers, Wigan Athletic and Rotherham have all been credited with an interest in the powerful attacker, but Fleetwood are in pole position to land Holloway.
The League One club have pulled out all the stops to lure Holloway to Highbury as they look avoid next season a repeat of their relegation fight this term.
Holloway is out of contract at Wycombe this summer and he will leave Adams Park on a free transfer after turning down the offer of a new deal at the club.
The 23-year-old ended this season on loan at Oldham scoring two goals in ten appearances to help the club steer clear of relegation trouble in League One.
Holloway came through the ranks at Cardiff City before moving to Bristol City, but he failed to establish himself at Ashton Gate.
The Welsh youth international is seen as a star in the making and Fleetwood believe Holloway will prove a valuable addition to their plans.
