Watford were beaten 4-2 by Norwich City on Wednesday.

Watford fans have reacted on Twitter to Troy Deeney’s performance in the midweek clash with Norwich City.

Watford travelled to Carrow Road to take on Norwich City on Wednesday evening as the host sought to secure their Premier League survival.

Unfortunately that wasn’t meant to be as Sunderland beat Everton comfortably to see Norwich and Newcastle United both relegated.

They did go out with a fight though, securing a 4-2 win to leave their fans wondering what may have been.

It was not all bad for Watford though, as strikers Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo found the net, and their fans were particularly pleased with the display from the former.

The Hornets will now be hoping they can keep hold of their star men in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Ighalo’s superb form in the first half of the campaign had already started speculation that a move to several big clubs could be on the cards this summer.

Deeney has equally impressed though, and there could be a number of clubs who believe he would be a smart addition also.
