Roberto Martinez responds to Everton job speculation

Everton lost yet again in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has told Sky Sports that he is not worried about his job.

Martinez has come under pressure due to Everton’s disappointing performances and results in the Premier League this season.

The Toffees lost yet again on Wednesday evening, going down 3-0 to Sunderland away from home at the Stadium of Light in the league.

The performance of Everton against the Black Cats left much to be desired, but Martinez is not worried about his future.

"That is not really a question,” the Spaniard told Sky Sports after the defeat to Sunderland when asked if he thought that he feared for his job at Everton.

Martinez seems to be certain that he will remain as the Everton manager next season, but the fans are not happy.

There is no doubt that Everton have underachieved this season. This is a team that should be challenging for a top-six finish. Instead, the Toffees are set to end up outside the top 10.

The Spaniard is a good manager and has a strong philosophy of playing football, but results this season have been poor.
