Robbie Fowler reacts on Twitter to Liverpool draw with Chelsea

Liverpool played out a 1-1 draw with Chelsea in the Premier League on Wednesday.

Robbie Fowler has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Liverpool’s failure to win against Chelsea at home.

Liverpool played out a 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Anfield in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.

The Blues took the lead just past the half-hour mark through Eden Hazard, but the Reds rescued a point in the second minute of injury time through Christian Benteke.

Former Liverpool striker Fowler was following the match, and he has suggested on Twitter that Jurgen Klopp’s side were lucky to pick up a point.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Anfield on Wednesday evening, hosts Liverpool had 55% of the possession, took 28 shots of which just nine were on target, and earned seven corners.

Visitors Chelsea had 45% of the possession, took 13 shots of which seven were on target, and earned three corners.

Liverpool will return to action on Sunday afternoon when they take on West Bromwich Albion away from home at The Hawthorns in the Premier League.
