Rangers midfielder Jordan Thompson has suggested on social networking site Twitter that he has a dream of playing for Barcelona.
During a ‘Question & Answer’ session on Rangers Youth DC’s official Twitter page, the 19-year-old was asked about his dream club.
The youngster, who is highly rated, stated that Rangers and Barcelona are his two dream clubs.
I always said Rangers - if I had to pick another it would be Barcelona https://t.co/blTpHCxcmt— Rangers Youth DC (@rfc_rydc) May 12, 2016
Thompson is just starting out on his professional club career and has not even established himself in the first team, but the youngster is certainly ambitious.
The teenager is talented and is hard working, and he will get his chances to impress Rangers manager Mark Warburton.
The 19-year-old seems to be ambitious, and that is certainly a quality that all young footballers should have.
If Thompson works hard and makes good progress, then he should be able to play regularly for Rangers soon.
Playing for Barcelona? Why not? Maybe not next season or the season after, but in a few years' time, Thompson could be turning out for one of the biggest clubs in the world.
