Young Rangers ace Jordan Thompson has named the club's former winger Vladimir Weiss as one of his favourite players.
The jet-heeled Slovakian established himself as something of a cult hero during a season-long loan from Manchester City in the 2010-11 campaign, joining from Manchester City.
Nineteen-year-old Thompson, a boyhood Rangers fan, would have barely been in his teenage years when Weiss - now with Qatari outfit Al-Gharafa - was impressing in Glasgow.
But the Gers starlet remembers him being "class", noting that Weiss and Cristiano Ronaldo were among his favourite players when he was growing up.

Thompson's long-term future at Rangers remains to be seen. With the Gers now in the Scottish Premiership once again, manager Mark Warburton cannot afford to keep players who he isn't sure will benefit the first team.
He made his debut last November before spending the second half of the season on loan at Airdie.
