Rangers star James Tavernier has been rewarded for a stunning strike against Peterhead with the SPFL Goal of the Month award for April.
Tavernier, 24, joined the Gers from Wigan Athletic last summer, and whilst his defending is often brought into question, you can't knock his impact in the final third.
The right back has racked up an astonishing 15 goals from defence this season, scoring some stunning long-range goals as well as some inch-perfect free kicks.
Tavernier helped the Gers win promotion from the Scottish Championship and also played a huge part in the club's 4-0 win over Peterhead in the Petrofac Training Cup final.
Having been teed up by Kenny Miller, Tavernier unleashed an unstoppable volley into the roof of the net - and that goal has now been recognised.
On Wednesday, Tavernier's stunning strike against Peterhead won the SPFL Goal of the Month award for April, and he took to Twitter to thank everybody who voted for his goal.
Shortly after, Tavernier's former Rangers team-mate Nathan Oduwa supported the Gers right back after his superb goal - something Rangers fans will be hoping he can recreate in the Scottish Premiership next season.
