The Argentine has signed on the previously verbally agreed contract.

It’s the news that Tottenham Hotspur fans have all been waiting for as manager Mauricio Pochettino has now signed his new deal at the club.

The Argentine verbally agreed the deal a couple of weeks back and publicly disclosed that information but he has now been confirmed as signing on the dotted line of a new deal that will keep him at the club until 2021.

This week rumours began circling about Pochettino’s future after he was pictured with Sir Alex Ferguson, amid rumours of Manchester United interest in his services.

So here is a picture that Tottenham fans will want to see, Pochettino shaking hands with Daniel Levy after agreeing a new deal at the club:

Pochettino has had a fantastic season with the club and is now hopeful of guiding them to a second placed finish in the Premier League – ahead of their North London rivals Arsenal.

The Argentine has earned plaudits for his attacking style of play and development of young players so his extension will be met with universal acclaim from Tottenham fans and players.
