Michael Owen predicts Stoke City v West Ham United

Stoke Britannia Stadium

Stoke City and West Ham United will face each other in the Premier League this weekend.

Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen has predicted on Betvictor.com that West Ham United will fail to win against Stoke City this weekend.

West Ham will take on Stoke away from home at the Britannia Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

“West Ham said goodbye to Upton Park in style on the pitch earlier in the week but they might have to settle for a point at the Britannia after what was a very energy-sapping occasion against United on Tuesday,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.

A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Game to finish 1-1 at 7/1.”

West Ham are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 62 points from 37 matches.

The Hammers do not have any chance of finishing in the top four, but they can leapfrog Manchester United into fifth place if results on Sunday afternoon go their way.

The London outfit’s season has been successful already, and the players will be determined to make it even better by pushing to end up above the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, Stoke find themselves as low as 10th in the Premier League table at the moment with 48 points from 37 games.

The Potters will head into the match against West Ham at the Britannia Stadium on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace in London.
