Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has told the club’s official website that he has been impressed with Sergi Canos’s progress at Brentford.
Klopp has revealed that he has been impressed with the progress of the 19-year-old winger at Brentford.
“He did really well at Brentford,” the Liverpool manager told the club’s official website about Canos. “He scored in the last game and had a lot of time to play. For him it was really good to be there.
“The Championship is quite a strong league and for young players it is really difficult to go through, but he did well.”
Canos scored seven goals and created 29 chances in 37 Championship appearances for Brentford this season.
The Spanish youngster has a pass accuracy of 68% and a shot accuracy of 58%, and has won five headers, 28 dribbles and 30 tackles.
It seems that Klopp rates Canos highly, and this certainly bodes well for the future of the youngster.
The Liverpool manager is known to like young, talented and hungry players, and it seems that he likes Canos.
Liverpool are eighth in the Premier League table at the moment with 59 points from 37 matches.
The Merseyside outfit will play their final league game of the season against West Bromwich Albion away from home at The Hawthorns on Sunday afternoon.
