Game of Thrones season six episode four airs this Sunday in the US and on Monday in the UK.
Game of Thrones continues to tease us regarding what we can expect next, with a series of stills from the upcoming episode entitled Book of the Stranger.
The photos – published here by the Independent – do not tell us a great deal, but they do show a return for Littlefinger, who has not been seen for quite some time after passing Sansa off to the vile Bolton’s back in season five.
Since then Ramsay has offed his father and Sansa has done a runner so it will be interesting to see what the scheming Petyr Baelish does next.
Another image shows Theon Greyjoy reunited with his sister, having previously ignored her rescue attempt, and with his father now dead at the hands of his uncle expect plenty of familial wrangling on the Iron Islands.
With a shot of an angry Cersie Lannister – is there any other kind? – Tyrion and Varys chilling in Meereen and Daenerys’s potential rescue party on the horizon it seems we may have an episode without Jon Snow and Arya.
Then again, that may be exactly what Game of Thrones’ producers want us to think, with the now-former Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch set to play a huge role in what remains of this season.
